 REMAINING RELATIVE VISA (SUBCLASS 115)

 

Education,Law,Writing Remaining Relative visa (subclass 115) is the permanent visa that allows somebody who is outside Australia who’s near relative live permanently in Australia to also live permanently in Australia. Remaining Relative visa (subclass 115) is paid in installments where the first installment you pay AUD 3,945 and the second installment you pay AUD 2, 065. You must meet health and character requirements. The health results are valid for 12 months only. You are advised not to

 arrange for health examination or police certificate unless if requested to do so. You are required to give police certificate from the country you have lived for 12 months for ten years after you turned 16 years of age. If you are 18 years and above you are required to sign Australian Values Statement as a confirmation that you will respect Australia laws and Australia way of life. You must make sure that you do not have any outstanding balance that belongs to the Australian government. When maki

ng an application you must be outside Australia and you are required to be outside Australia when the visa is granted. To be eligible for a remaining relative visa (subclass 115), you must have somebody who will give assurance support and your relative who is in Australia must be your near relative. Your relative can be your parent, sister, brother, partner’s parent, step sister or brother. Your relative must be 18 years and above and is not a dependent child who is below 18 years, an Australian citizen or eligible New Zealand citizen and a permanent resident. The relative must be ready to give you accommodation, financial help, and any other support are need of for the first two years of residency in Australia. 

PARENT VISA (SUBCLASS 103)
 
Education,Law,Writing Parent visa (subclass 103) is a permanent visa that costs AUD 6010 and it is paid in two installments. The visa starts the date you are granted. Parent visa (subclass 103) allows the parent of an Australian citizen who is a permanent resident to live in Australia permanently. You must be sponsored and your sponsor must be 18 years and above and be able to give financial and 


responsibilities. You can be in or outside Australia when applying parent visa (subclass 103) but you must be outside when the decision is made. You must meet the balance of family test that is half of your children must be living permanently in Australia than in any other country. You must have paid or you are planning to pay any outstanding debt that belongs to the Australian government. If at all you had your visa that was canceled or refused while you were in Australia, you might not be eligible for parent visa (subclass 103). Parent visa (subclass 103) is in high demand and limited some places, therefore, the applications are processed in the order they were lodged. When the limit is reached there are no more visas that are granted in that financial year. Instead of applying parent visa (subclass 103), you 

opt to apply contributory parent visa (subclass 143) which is also a permanent visa, it is faster but very costly compared to parent visa (subclass 103). Parent visa(subclass103) allows you to travel to and from Australia for 5 years, enroll in a Medicare, you can sponsor the eligible relative, you can apply for citizenship and you can stay, work and study in Australia. You are required to comply with the visa conditions and Australian laws while you are in Australia.
